Actually, this is a warnings place. I have several, so please read all!

-I try to make my Snape as canon as possible. Yes. The greasy git. The nasty bugger who is sarcastic and evil. The way we all love him.

-Two major pairings here (some others may be mentioned as well, even implied m/f if you can imagine!). Mainly Harry/Snape, but it has also quite a lot of Ron/Draco.

-This is a story. As in something opposite to PWPs. Therefore, the action doesn't happen in the first ten pages. I am a firm believer in 'start small and build'. So even if it takes a while forever for this to become NC-17, it will eventually be like that.

-There is some heavy violence here. Yes. The story takes place before, during and after the war, so it will have depressing and sad themes as well as happiness and joy. Dark themes, including mention of het rape. There will be deaths in later parts, maybe even much loved characters. This is not a death story, though. I'm the Queen of Happy Endings. If you want to know who dies before reading, email me. I'll spoil you, you ninny you! :P

Since I started to write this story long before I actually posted it, it will follow canon up to Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. So spoilers to the first 4 books! Veers off canon after that. Yes. They are still alive.

The legend of the King Stag shamelessly borrowed from Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon. My Seamus is strongly influenced by the way Buck Compton was portrayed in HBO's Band of Brothers. All the other similarities between whatever other fandoms are most likely unintentional and come from the fact that I watch way too much telly.
